Limited Warranty


There are no warranties, express or implied, which extend beyond the description contained herein, including the implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Each appliance is sold AS IS and carries a limited repair or replacement warranty commencing from the date of the purchase invoice. D N S & More Used Appliance Store shall repair the appliance, if deemed viable by D N S & More Used Appliance Store (hereby referred to as "DNS") or will exchange of the same value within ninety (90) days of the invoice date if the appliance fails mechanically. Customer must provide proof of purchase for warranty to be valid. Functions of the appliances that are warrantied are as follows: washers should fill with water, agitate, spin, and drain properly; dryers should tumble and heat properly, and door switch and timer should work correctly; stove burners and bake/broiler elements heat properly; refrigerators cool/freeze properly.


If you take your appliance home in your own vehicle, you understand that only major mechanical errors to parts such as motors, belts, timers, compressors, fans, water pumps, heating elements, and lid and door switches are covered under this warranty. If you damage the item during transit or installation, it is not the responsibility of DNS to repair or replace the item. Appliances are not designed to be laid down in transit, doing so will void this warranty.


Range self-cleaning modes are not tested before purchase and are not warrantied under any circumstance. Ice makers and water dispensers are covered if stated. Water lines going to the appliance are not covered, nor do we sell used ones.


If you bring your appliance home and determine that it needs repair, it is your responsibility to get it back to us as DNS does not do outside service calls. If customer purchases the independent, 3rd party delivery service, there will be no charge to customer for pick up and redelivery UNLESS the problem is caused by the customer (such as a clogged drain, blown circuit breaker, blocked dryer vent, water flow to the appliance, etc.), then customer will be responsible for the cost to the delivery service. Customer will only receive one exchanged item for this warranty. Items such as self-cleaning mode, leveling legs, broken shelves, cosmetic items, fill hoses, and any item resulting from customer's misuse are not covered under this warranty. If you choose to use the 3rd party delivery service, only to find the appliance will not fit in the intended space or cannot be reasonably delivered to the space due to items such as door too small, hallway too narrow, not reasonably accessible, etc..., you will owe the delivery driver for their effort, but DNS will refund the money for the appliance as long as it is returned in the same condition as it left the store in.


Limit of Liability


DNS shall not be responsible for any damage caused by appliance failure including, but not limited to, fire, flooding, personal injury, death, damage to personal or real property such as spoiled food, or any other liability whatsoever. The following is specially excluded from warranty coverage: misuse, abuse, improper transportation, installation or operation of the appliance, the modification of the appliance, or damage to the appliance due to the negligence of the customer.


Trade-Ins


If you have a trade-in, you understand that DNS will attempt to repair and resell your appliance. You waive ownership of this appliance as soon as you trade it in.


Should you choose to have your appliance delivered, delivery is via an independent, 3rd party delivery service, DNS is not responsible for any actions of this third party. DNS does not install, deliver or do service calls of any appliances , DNS & More will not enter your household for any reason, including repair. If for any reason, the delivery person does not feel they can safely install your appliance, you may receive a refund from DNS or you can choose to have the appliance delivered to the porch, garage or carport, etc... if accessible. DNS takes no responsibility for damage to items that are taken home by customer or left outside the home at the request of the customer.


Cords


DNS will make sure your appliance has the proper cord for no additional fee. It is your responsibility to notify us of any cord change before your delivery time or pick up.
